The 2015 red carpet season begins this weekend with the Golden Globes. The list of female nominees is quite thrilling, featuring a blend of veteran actresses and promising ingénues. They are admired for their elegant, red carpet style as well as the brilliant on-screen performances that they delivered this year. Our style prediction for Sunday, and perhaps throughout the upcoming awards show circuit, will be a return to classic, dignified ensembles, complete with jewelry fit for a queen.

In the category of Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama, our sentimental favorite is Reese Witherspoon.
