Fashion Week in New York City- fantastic fashion............stunning models................ slicked back hair................naked ears! It just kills me to see these models walking the runway with their hair behind their ears and not even a pair of diamond studs to be found. I know that it is about the designer and his/her fashion, and they don't want the jewelry to overshadow the clothes, but there is such simplicity and beauty in elegant diamond jewelry. It just bothers me whenever I see a runway show with such fabulous and expensive clothing, and the models are wearing no jewels at all. The reality is that any woman who wears the clothing appearing on the runway will certainly be bejeweled as well. It is rare to see a woman all dressed up in her finest with no jewelry. A beautiful, yet simple and elegant Ashoka necklace would have been just the perfect accessory on any runway..............
